Thank you for this powerful post! I have often let lust speak louder than calling. Failing to keep my alignment with the Divine, Achilles-esque. God truly doesn’t abandon us, we abandon His design for us. We become gluttons for comfort, paralyzed by choice, and allergic to effort. And that’s why (Troy movie quote) “No one will remember your name.” A toothless man, devoid of all virtue & character I feel like.
